North Corner Haven is a 600-acre farm property of mixed hardwood forest, pasture, and ponds. Founded by the Dooley family in 1972, the historic property was a gathering place and an unspoiled slice of the natural world. Hospitality at North Corner Haven came honestly, rooted in family gatherings and shared moments. In 2017, the Dooley Family set out to revitalize the property and offer space for corporate events, weddings, and other celebrations.

Over the last two years, the North Corner Haven team has implemented systems to turn the property into a fully operational farm by using permaculture principles, living systems, and land design to outfit the land sustainably. Today, they are a fully operational farm offering grass-fed beef, pasture-raised pork, and organic and pesticide-free produce. To accommodate events, they have a full-service staff, offering concierge services and superior hospitality chops for experiences that range from intimate parties to large-scale events.

The Challenge

The client had a building leased in the center of the neighborhood, a newly cleared schedule and a name. But no clear vision of what the offerings would be and what the personality of the brand would become. We stepped back and did a full brand audit to see where we should position them.

The Solution

A simple and understated typography driven logo with a series of branded elements, brand messaging and photography which all showed thoughtful design and meticulous offerings. The menu was designed to be simple and easily edited and the website gave a quick snapshot of the offerings, contact information, overview of the style and showcased the coziness of the space. Before the place even opened they had a huge fan base and people asking weekly when they would open up. Since their opening, they are consistently busy and plan on opening location number two Spring of 2019.
